By using this website you agree to these terms. If you are using it for an organization, you confirm you are authorised to accept them on that organization's behalf. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

These terms cover the website only. Any service BridgeStar performs for you is governed by a separate written agreement, and where that agreement conflicts with these terms, it prevails.

BridgeStar Ventures helps ventures find capital, industrial capability, market access, and strategic partners across borders. We diagnose what a venture actually needs and connect it to organizations in our network. That is the whole of it, and the following limits are not boilerplate:

• Nothing on this site is investment, legal, tax, or financial advice, and nothing on it should be relied on as the basis for a decision.
• Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security or interest in any fund, in any jurisdiction.
• BridgeStar is not a registered broker-dealer, investment adviser, or placement agent, and does not perform any activity requiring such registration.
• BridgeStar does not guarantee that an introduction will be made, that an introduction will lead to capital, a contract, or any other outcome, or that any organization in the network will respond to you.
• BridgeStar does not act as your agent or fiduciary by reason of your using this site, and no such relationship arises until it is agreed in writing.
• Any transaction, engagement, or agreement you reach with an organization you meet through BridgeStar is between you and that organization. Do your own diligence.

You may browse the network, use the forms in good faith, and share links to any page. You may not:

• Scrape, crawl, harvest, or systematically extract the network directory or any part of it, by any automated means, or reproduce it as a competing list or database.
• Use anything you find here to send unsolicited commercial messages to the organizations listed.
• Submit information that is false, that impersonates someone else, or that you have no right to disclose.
• Interfere with the site's operation or security, attempt to access anything not intended to be public, or circumvent any technical limit.
• Use the site for anything unlawful, or in breach of any sanctions, export control, or trade restriction that applies to you or to us.

We may suspend or refuse access to anyone who breaches these terms, without notice.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you send us, and you confirm you have the right to send it. Do not send anyone else's confidential information without their permission.

You keep ownership of everything you submit. You give BridgeStar permission to use it for the purpose you sent it for — to assess your need, to identify relevant connections, and, with your agreement, to make an introduction. How we handle it, and what we will not do with it, is set out in the Privacy Policy.

The organizations shown in the network are listed because BridgeStar considers them relevant to cross-border venture building. A listing is information, not a recommendation, and does not mean the organization endorses BridgeStar or that BridgeStar endorses it. We do not warrant that any listing is complete, current, or accurate.

If your organization is listed and you would like the entry corrected or removed, contact us and we will act on it.

This site links to organizations we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, their conduct, their terms, or their privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement.

The BridgeStar name, the BridgeStar mark, this site's design and text, and the compiled network directory belong to BridgeStar Ventures or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and database rights. You may not copy or reuse them except as these terms allow or the law permits.

Using this website is free, and submitting a form costs nothing and commits you to nothing. Where BridgeStar is engaged to perform work, the scope and the fee — whether a project fee or a success-based fee — are agreed in writing in advance. No fee is ever payable because you used this site.

The site is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law permits.

To the fullest extent the law allows, BridgeStar and its founders, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost business, lost data, or lost opportunity, arising from your use of this site or from any relationship formed through it. Our total liability arising from the site will not exceed one hundred US dollars (US$100).

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You agree to cover BridgeStar's reasonable losses and legal costs arising from your breach of these terms, from information you submit that you had no right to submit, or from your unlawful use of the site.

We may change the site, or these terms, at any time. The date at the top of this page shows when the terms last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and you and BridgeStar each consent to their jurisdiction. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
